DESCRIPTION:This mega 2-day Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival is being held at the Showboat Hotel on July 13 & 14.  The weekend kicks off on Friday\, July 13\, with a vegan food truck festival (10-20 trucks) on the boardwalk.  Next\, there will be a 5k/10k and Fun Run on the Atlantic City Boardwalk on Saturday morning\, July 14\, followed by the AC Vegan Food Festival.  The fun continues until early morning on Sunday with the after party! The ACVFF will have 200+ vendors\, live music\, and thousands of attendees.  Some of the keynote speakers will be RZA (Grammy award winning music producer\, BAFTA nominated film composer\, philanthropist\, recording artist\, actor\, director – one of the most prominent figures in hip-hop music and creator/producer of the world-renowned WuTang Clan)\, Scott Jurek (named of the greatest runners of all time) who will be participating in the 10k and as a speaker)\, and Bryant Terry\, who will be joining us with a panel discussion on Food Justice that also includes Lauren Ornales from the Food Empowerment project and Erika Boyd\, owner of Detroit Vegan Soul.  Bryant is the author of the critically acclaimed Vegan Soul Kitchen (VSK)\, which was named one of the best vegetarian/vegan cookbooks of the last 25 years by Cooking Light Magazine.
