Description

This single-origin decaf was selected basis cup quality and was decaffeinated using the Mountain Waster process, which utilizes a water-and-green-coffee solution in order to extract caffeine from green coffee while retaining the integrity of the flavor.

This coffee comes from Unión Ramal Santa Cruz SPR, a Fairtrade-certified cooperative of smallholder farmers located in the buffer zone of the Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. The organization was founded in 2001 and has just under 500 active farmer members.
